Justin Shapiro is the founder of JustRight Consulting, LLC, a boutique advisory firm specializing in luxury brand development, operational strategy, and high-end customer experience. He also serves as a Senior Loan Officer with Movement Mortgage in Charleston, SC, where he is licensed in eight states and known for delivering concierge-level service to a discerning clientele. Justin’s professional background spans executive leadership roles in hospitality, finance, and real estate.
Justin spent nearly a decade as the co-owner/operator of Mayahuel, New York City’s iconic tequila and mezcal destination.
Under his leadership, Mayahuel was named the “Best New Cocktail Bar in the World” (Tales of the Cocktail, 2010) and became synonymous
with innovation, elegance, and profitability in a highly competitive market.
Before returning to Charleston in 2020, Justin served as Director of Business Development and Operations for Ward Hospitality - a subsidiary of Ward Capital Management - where he led large-scale initiatives focused on growth, systems optimization, and experiential excellence.
Justin's distinctive blend of creative vision, operational rigor, and refined customer insight has positioned him as a trusted advisor
to entrepreneurs, brands, and investors navigating the luxury space.
An avid traveler and hockey player, Justin remains a committed community advocate,
who passionately supports agave initiatives that reflect his belief in purposeful, eco-friendly and sustainable practices.
