Justin Shapiro is the founder of JustRight Consulting, LLC, a boutique advisory firm dedicated to luxury brand development and operational strategy.
The firm is renowned for providing concierge-level service tailored to a discerning clientele.
Justin’s professional background encompasses executive leadership positions across a myriad of industries including hospitality, finance, and real estate.
Justin spent nearly a decade as the co-owner/operator of Mayahuel, New York City’s iconic tequila and mezcal destination.
Under his leadership, Mayahuel was named the “Best New Cocktail Bar in the World” (Tales of the Cocktail, 2010)
and became synonymous with innovation, elegance, and profitability in a highly competitive market.
During his tenure at Mayahuel, Justin was also an executive advisor to Dzaner & Co, LLP, an alternative investment hedge fund
with an exclusive focus on the VIX (a key measure of near-term volatility conveyed by the S&P 500). Justin helped Dzaner & Co create, and implement,
a highly successful strategy to raise capital, highlighting their complex quantitative models and algorithms.
Before returning to Charleston in 2020, Justin served as Director of Business Development and Operations for Ward Hospitality - a subsidiary of Ward Capital Management - where he led large-scale initiatives focused on vertical growth, systems optimization, and experiential excellence.
In addition to his consulting work, Justin is licensed as a Senior Loan Officer in Charleston, SC, enabling him to deliver specialized financial solutions nationwide.
